My spouse and I were celebrating our anniversary in Italy, and I contacted Selene to see what options we might arrange with a very short timeline. She was very responsive with options, and in short order arranged an incredible evening, beyond all expectations. She made arrangements at a small hilltop vineyard, and when we arrived at dusk, the vineyard was completely empty save for the manager who met us at the door. The setting was stunning - views of Umbria and Tuscany, lakes, hilltop towns. I've been to Italy many times, but this was the most spectacular view I've seen. The manager gave us a private tour of the winery which was delightful and a great setup to take us in the glass elevator to the tasting room. The winery was architecturally and design-wise stunning, and as we entered the tasting room, the manager stepped back as we were met by an elegant hostess who lead us to a set of stairs down to a lovely event room with a pathway lined with rose petals and candles leading to a beautifully-set dinner table for two. Our hostess was also sommelier, and we were served an amazing 5 course dinner with paired wines from the vineyard, created by the vineyard chef. Each course was impeccable, beautifully served, and wines were stunning. Each detail - from a custom-printed menu, to table setting - was beyond expectation and showed such attention to detail and creativity. It was beyond what I ever would have expected. At the end of the dinner, our hostess introduced herself as Selene, to our surprise! She informed us she wanted to make sure everything went perfectly, and managed the chef, wines, decor, etc. We are beyond grateful. As the night came to an end, our pre-arranged driver picked us up to go back to our hotel. We looked at each other and knew this would be one of the most memorable nights of our lives together, all created by our new friend Selene. We cannot recommend her more highly for your events. A delight to work with, and delivers beyond all expectation.
