La professionalità e il buon gusto nella scelta delle locande, il ristorante e gli empori da visitare rende il tour con Amazing Italy un'esperienza unica. Ho svolto il tour a piedi, 3 ore di passeggiata nella città con tante tappe dove si degustano i piatti tipici bolognesi. Sono rimasta entusiasmata dal fatto che un tour organizzato in lingua inglese e quindi presumibilmente realizzato per europei e non italiani, faccia assaporare la vera cucina bolognese, con i sughi gustosi e gli affettati di ottima qualità. Turismo sì, ma con i piatti tipici e non gli assaggi "pseudoitaliani" che si rifilano spesso agli stranieri. Ad accompagnarci una guida simpatica e professionale, Chiara, che ci ha spiegato ogni peculiarità dei piatti offerti e vari segreti sulla città più colta d'Italia. Bologna è meravigliosa, assolutamente da visitare.

We had so much fun with our tour guide Sara from Amazing Italy. We had a walking foodie tour in Bologna - we stopped at so many amazing artisan shops - Majani chocolate shop is spectacular with their Christmas chocolates. We had amazing pasta, wonderful cured meats and cheeses, rice cakes and gelato. But the absolute best was the 8-hour Food and Wine tour. The parmesan cheese stop included warm, creamy ricotta cheese = the best I have ever tasted. Their aged parmesan was incredible. We stopped at a prosciutto/mortadella producer - so amazing. We stopped at a balsamic vinegar producer, and I must say that I was not a fan of balsamic vinegar until now. They have such amazing balsamic vinegars- we even had it on ice cream! I loved it! Amazing!! We also had a lovely stop at a winery. What an amazing day! I would highly recommend these two tours in Bologna and Sara our tour guide was so knowledgeable.
I would definitely do this again given the chance to go back to Bologna.

What a fantastic day out!!! I am not keen on the idea of tour groups but my wife convinced me to give this one a go after reading all the great reviews (and mention 'small group'). It exceeded my expectations. The guide, Max and driver Massimo were absolutely fantastic and the content of the tour interesting, fun and really well balanced between drive and time at each stop with plenty of excellent food, wine (and not doing the driving for a change) and balsamic. Going to small family run business was perfect. Even our own Max (13 yrs old) had a great day and enjoyed himself - particularly at the fabulous lunch where he got to know a few of the other children on the tour. I echo another persons feedback when they said that the only thing that would have been nice was to continue on into the evening getting to know some of the other people we met on the tour. Just to note also - excellent and clean bus, well needed AC and very safe driving from Massimo. Highly recommend the tour and make sure you keep some money set aside for taking a Ferrari for a test drive!!! I took the California as it has the small jump seat in the back so young Max could join me for an AMAZING Experience.

We did the Food and Ferrari tour and it was the highlight of our vacation!
We loved our tour guide and our driver, both who made the experience so unique and enjoyable.
All the food we tried was SO!!! incredible. My husband and I loved the balsamic vinegar tour the most, but really everything was WOW.
The Ferrari museum was just dang cool, and we felt no rush at all from our tour guides to move through. My husband even did the simulator and had a blast.

Finally, we ended with the lunch. La Casa Blanca, a family restaurant that truly felt authentic. We went on a Sunday and it was packed with families. We tried some incredible foods and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere.

Was the experience worth it?
YES! We could turn our brains off and just enjoy the day.

Shout out to our awesome tour guide, I hope you get to spend a great day with him!!
